Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity
The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) DFW Division welcomes you to our community of Irish Americans dedicated to preserving our rich heritage, promoting Irish culture, and supporting charitable causes in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As the oldest and largest Irish Catholic organization in the United States, our division is committed to fostering camaraderie among members, advocating for unity in Ireland, and contributing positively to our local communities.
Our Mission
- Irish Reunification: Advocating for unity and peace across Ireland, we stand as a beacon of support for the cause of Irish reunification. Our efforts are rooted in the belief that together, we can help pave the way for a future where Ireland is united and its people are free to thrive under one flag.
- Christian Charity: Inspired by the teachings of Christ, we actively engage in charitable works to support those in need. From local outreach programs in Dallas-Fort Worth to international missions, our organization believes in the power of Christian charity to transform lives and spread hope.
- Promotion of Irish Culture: Celebrating the legacy of Irish heritage, we organize cultural events, educational programs, and social gatherings that allow our members and the community to explore the richness of Irish traditions, arts, and history.
What We Do
While our division meets monthly to discuss business, we take pride in supporting those throughout North Texas that do their part in promoting Irish culture.
Whether it be taking part in the Annual North Texas Irish Festival, aiding in local Feis, or assisting in charitable acts, the Michael Collins Division takes pride in being men that serve our community.
